Why an Economic Development Management Group?
The purpose of the Green Valley Economic Development Management Group, formed by the Green Valley Council, Green Valley Recreation, and the Green Valley/Sahaurita Chamber of Commerce partnership, is to steer the economic growth of Green Valley.
Its primary functions are to:
· Take responsibility for planning business cases, their feasibility, goals, objectives and measureable outcomes.
· Oversee and review Green Valley’s economic progress and address unmet needs.
· Schedule and oversee deliverables.
GVED Management Gorup is partnered with Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce, Az19 Regional Tourism Alliance, and Green Valley Recreation. Representatives from various economic drivers in the community are membeers of this group, and the reports we bring to each meeting ensure that none of the entities in the community are duplicating efforts, but rather collaborating on solutions to challenges that our greater community may face. This is not an exclusinve group; anyone who is interested in what we do may join and participate in steering Green Valley’s Economic Future!
